Given the reality that approximately 75% of DC legislators once held an earlier office in a state capitol, CM remains committed to building ministries in all of America's state capitols. Presently, CM has birthed ministries in over one-half of the US capitols; by God's grace, most are now organizationally and financially independent of CM. CM has learned many proprietary lessons over the past decade in pioneering this movement in the state capitols. Presently we are reinventing our paradigm for such with two major shifts underway: First, our ministry ideology is shifting from a "Christ against Culture" to a "Christ transforming Culture" understanding of Scripture. Secondly, we are changing our understanding of who we hire for such positions, with more foresight as to sustainability, meaning we are searching for early retiring successful businessmen who have taught Sunday School for years, and desire to personally transition from "success to significance," thereby providing CM with men who are older and more mature.
