Welcome to Capitol Ministries Nevada.

Capitol Ministries is singularly focused on bringing the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to every Nevada legislator every year. Coupled with this emphasis on evangelism is our commitment to discipleship as we focus on bringing believers to maturity in Jesus Christ.

Each week during the legislative session, Capitol Ministries provides challenging Bible study opportunities for legislators, their staff and the lobbying community. The systematic teaching of God's Word is central to what we do. This past session we took an in depth look at the Gospel of John as we emphasized the deity of Christ and the application of God’s Word to our daily lives.

The ministry to the capitol community in Nevada was initiated during the 2005 legislative session. Starting with a small core group of legislators and staff, we have been blessed as the Lord has added to our numbers within the capitol community. We are now in the interim period and two ongoing satellite Bible studies are in progress. These satellite studies are held in the Reno/Sparks and Carson City areas. All in the capitol community are welcome to be a part of regular Bible Study and fellowship.
