Biography of Dan Madison Director Nevada Dan is a native Californian having raised his three children in the Southern California and Fresno areas. He served in the Army Security Agency for three years and while stationed in Eritrea, East Africa he met his wife Diane. Dan and Diane have recently celebrated forty-six years of marriage.
Dan received his BA and Masters of Religion degree from Bethany Theological Seminary and Bible College, and a law degree from LaSalle University. He spent over twenty-two years with a large national insurance company and was involved in claim management for over fifteen years. Always active in leadership in his local church, Dan heeded the call to full time ministry in 1986. He was called to Aurora Ministries in Bradenton, Florida as the Director of National Ministries, where he ministered for over sixteen years. This world wide ministry served the visually and physically impaired on a worldwide basis and Dan and his wife traveled extensively as they shared the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dan has been active from the very beginning with Capitol Ministries serving on the Board of Directors since its inception. In 2002 he retired from Aurora Ministries and joined Capitol Ministries as Ministry Leader at Large, an administrative and oversight position. In January of 2005 the ministry at the Nevada State Capitol was started with the help of a dedicated group of legislators. Dan now serves in the capacity of Ministry Leader in Nevada.
At the present time Dan is an active member of the First Baptist Community Church of Los Gatos where he serves in a leadership role.
