Biography of Brent Alderman Brent Alderman grew up in a strong Christian family, the middle of three boys. After sensing the Lord’s leading to minister in the music field, he entered Appalachian Bible College where he met his wife Tracy.
Brent graduated in 1988 from Appalachian with a bachelor’s degree in theology. After teaching in a Christian high school in Roanoke, Virginia, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, graduating in 1995 with a master’s degree in music history.
Brent and Tracy served from 1997 to 2008 at Independent Bible Church in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where he was the pastor of worship ministries. After learning more about Capitol Ministries and after much counsel and prayer, Brent became the state director for Capitol Ministries Maryland.
In addition to ministering to leaders, Brent enjoys reading history and biographies, classical music, writing opinion columns and baseball. He and Tracy were blessed with a daughter, Megan, in 2000.
