Welcome to Capitol Ministries, Arkansas—the Natural State!

As an extension of the local church, Capitol Ministries exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ within the political arena. Our ministry’s goal is to reach every political leader in the world, at every level of government, every year, with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our strategy is to place one full-time disciple-maker in each of America’s 50 state capitols, launch a ministry in Washington D.C. and plant ministries in capital cities around the world.

Capitol Ministries Arkansas was officially launched in 2006. I praise God for the privilege of serving our political leaders, their support staff, and the lobbying communities of Arkansas with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

One of the main distinctives of our ministry is that we teach expository Bible studies within the political arena. These are not simply for the purpose of amassing biblical content as a mental exercise, but it is for the purpose of regularly aiding government leaders in knowing and loving God as he has revealed Himself in the Old and New Testament Scripture.

Each day has its own challenges, and we want to be part of God’s solution for helping legislators be refreshed in their faith in Christ. God uses His Word to encourage and grow believers in the truth and in loving Him and their neighbor as themselves. For this reason, the studies are designed to be clear, thought-provoking, encouraging, and applicable to the unique needs of Arkansas’ Capitol community.

My desire is that God will use this ministry to lead many in our Capitol to behold His majestic glory and supreme worth, and encourage our leaders towards excellence in every area of their lives.

We desire to have ministry partnerships with local churches in every county of Arkansas to accomplish the vision of reaching every political leader in Arkansas, every year, with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Will you join us in reaching this Great Commission goal?
