The motto of Capitol Ministries is delivering the gospel to every political leader, in every capitol, every year. Since our founding in 1996, our vision has always been the same: to evangelize elected officials and lead them toward maturity in Christ. We stay away from politics altogether.

Washington DC

WASHINGTON DC
This year in 2010, we will prayerfully launch CM DC: our long-awaited ministry in the world's most influential city. We have been building substantive relationships on the Hill for many years and the time has come to begin this important work. In the soon upcoming years we plan to build a staff team of six people (presently on our staff) to reach weekly the 435 plus 100 congressional and senate members respectively.

United States

THE 50 STATES
Within America, we are continuing our effort to establish ministries in all 50 state capitols. Over the past dozen years we have recruited, trained, coordinated and launched ministries in about half of the state capitols. Many of those starts are now independent and growing on their own; we praise God for this development! We remain in need however, of many more Bible teachers/disciple makers who sense and aspire to the call of championing a ministry in the remaining unreached American state capitol communities.

South America

OTHER CONTINENTS
In terms of our expansion onto other continents, we are presently training 20 nationals for many new launches throughout Latin America. In addition to our existing work in Argentina, this year by the grace of God, we will pioneer new ministries in the federal capitols of El Salvador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile. Also, many new state capitol ministry leaders are being trained for Argentina and Brazil.

Here at Capitol Ministries we are attempting to reach every elected official in every nation of the world with the saving message of Jesus Christ! Our vision may sound lofty, but its not too big for God to accomplish should He tarry in His return. We pray that the Lord will use Capitol Ministries to affect the lives of thousands of political leaders--in our nation's capitol, at home, and overseas--in 2010 and beyond.

Scripture is clear. In the heart of God there is a special place for political leaders--and accordingly there should be a place for them in our hearts too. Here at CM, we refer to this missiological oversight as, "The Missing Mandate in Modern Missions." How can you help us reach political leaders: men and women who have so many deep personal needs, hurts and wants? Will you partner with us today?
